Background:
Pam Kiely joined Environment Colorado as the Land Use Associate in 2005, where she advocated for smarter choices about how and where we are growing in order to protect Colorado’s beautiful open places and our quality of life. Pam also fought for sustainable transportation investments that move people efficiently, economically, and cleanly around their communities and throughout the state. In 2006 she authored “Losing Ground: Colorado’s Vanishing Agricultural Lands,” a comprehensive analysis documenting Colorado’s shocking land loss trends. Pam took over as the Legislative Program Director in 2007, and now works primarily on energy and global warming policy. Before coming to Environment Colorado, Pam was a captain for Outward Bound’s east coast sailing program. Pam is a graduate of Harvard University, where she studied international relations in the History department.
