Oil and gas drilling has increased 500% since 1990 in Colorado, and our current laws are out-of-date and unable to deal with this new boom. Our current laws are as weak as those in Qatar, Malaysia and Romania -- they don't even require oil and gas companies to disclose the chemicals they're using in their facilities!

Even if you're not able to make the public hearing this Monday, June 23rd, from 7AM to noon at Paramount Theatre in Denver (map) you can still get your voice heard.

Letter	Oil and gas drilling is accelerating at breakneck pace in Colorado -- 120,000 new wells in the next 30 years, a 340% increase. Not surprisingly, all this drilling has the potential to be really bad for wildlife and our water and air quality. The oil and gas industry can afford to do it right.
