Ask friends, family and coworkers to help save Colorado's forests
It’s
amazing to see how much our last wild forests mean to Coloradans.
We
need your help to get the word out by asking your friends, family, and
co-workers to help protect Colorado’s
roadless forests.
The
U.S. Forest Service is accepting public comments until February 25th,
2008 on a proposal that would allow increased road building for logging and
mining activities as well as more logging throughout Colorado’s backcountry.
Protecting
Colorado’s
more than 4 million acres of roadless forests is essential for providing
important wildlife habitat, clean drinking water to Coloradans, and endless
opportunities for spectacular outdoor recreation.
Please
take a moment to ask others you know to take action and protect Colorado’s last wild
forests.
