Save the Ales!

What:

Drinking Liberally and Environment Colorado RPC host “Save the Ales 2008,” an extravaganza of live music, environmental action, and socializing.

Global warming can pose serious threats to agricultural, in particular the farming of hops, a key ingredient in beer. “Save the Ales” helps fight global warming by raising funds for global warming solutions

Drinking Liberally, a progressive social group, revived the annual fundraiser to mark the 5 year anniversary of Drinking Liberally’s first chapter in New York City. Drinking Liberally went on to launch a “50 bar strategy” and now has 250 chapters in all 50 states.

Colorado’s “Save the Ales” global warming fundraiser was originally created in 2004 by the now defunct EnviroCitizen. All proceeds from “Save the Ales 2008” benefit Environment Colorado RPC and Drinking Liberally.
