From the ancient petroglyphs of the Vermillion Basin to the towering peaks of the Rocky Mountains, Colorado is home to some of the most stunning scenery and world-class outdoor recreation anywhere in the country. Unfortunately, too many of our natural wonders have been lost to commercial logging, mining and oil and gas drilling.
