Field Associate
We
have an immediate opening for a Field Associate, based in Denver. The
Field Associate works to build support for Environment Colorado
campaigns in targeted legislative districts. Working with program
staff, the Field Associate works to build a political network, generate
media attention and public awareness, lobby decision makers, and build
the organization. More
Environmental Fellowship
We
are accepting applications for an Environmental Fellow to work with
Environment Colorado or one of our partner state environmental groups
around the country. Advocates serve as the organization’s public face
for their program areas, and responsibilities include research,
lobbying, media outreach, fundraising, and more. More
Environmental Campaign Organizer
We are looking for recent college graduates and others who
care about our environment and are committed to giving it a voice around the
2008 election. We are looking for strong leadership skills, academic
excellence, problem solving ability, and top-notch communication skills,
including the ability to debate and speak persuasively in a charged atmosphere. More
Environmental Campaign Staff
The Campaign to Save the Environment, a project of the Fund for Public Interest Research,
is hiring college students, recent graduates, and activists across the
state to build citizen support for Environment Colorado, working to
fight global warming, promote clean energy, and protect our last wild
places. Campaign staff go out into communities to talk with citizens
about the issues, raise money, and build membership for Environment Colorado. Staff also have the opportunity to work with the media, build

Environmental Internships
Each of Environment Colorado’s internships offers students a
structured experience working one-on-one with one of Environment Colorado’s
staff of advocates or campaign organizers - the intern's
staff mentor. Interns learn basic skills that allow them to analyze issues and
articulate solutions to the pressing problems of the day. More.
