Environment Colorado applauds 100% renewable electricity vote in Fort Collins

Tonight, the Fort Collins City Council voted to move to 100% clean, renewable electricity by 2030. Environment Colorado director Garrett Garner-Wells released the following statement:

“The Fort Collins City Council’s vote to move to 100% clean electricity by 2030 reaffirms their leadership role in Colorado’s transition to a renewable energy future. Coupled with their commitment to carbon neutrality by 2050, Fort Collins is a model for goals and policies that address the climate crisis head on.”
