Statement: 166 members of Congress from across America call for swift action to update clean energy incentives

A national cross-section of 166 Congressional members delivered a letter today to Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer urging them to act on important federal clean energy incentives before adjourning for the year. Statement: Bipartisan water infrastructure bill invests to prevent sewage overflows and runoff pollution

Congress advanced major bipartisan legislation today to improve America’s clean water infrastructure. The U.S. House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure approved H.R.1497, the Water Quality Protection and Job Creation Act of 2019, which would invest more than $16 billion in clean water infrastructure over the next five years.

New “Voices for Clean Water” website highlights wide array of Americans speaking out against pollution threats

In response to a growing set of pollution threats and to mark today’s 47th anniversary of the Clean Water Act, Environment America Research and Policy Center and the Clean Water for All coalition have launched  a new website -- “Voices for Clean Water” -- that  features photos and testimonials from a wide array of individuals from across America. They included business owners, faith leaders, public health experts and people who love to swim, hike, kayak or just drink clean water.
